Incorporated in 1982, the Burquitlam Care Society’s mission is to raise funds to enhance the lives of elders in our community.   Our community is primarily comprised of the residents of the Burquitlam Lions Care Centre. When you give a gift to the Society, you are helping to improve the lives of all those who rely on Burquitlam Lions Care Centre for their care and activities of daily living.

Governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, the Burquitlam Care Society receives support from the friends and family members of Burquitlam Lions Care Centre, concerned community members, the Lions Club and private granting agencies. Burquitlam Lions Care Centre also holds several fundraising events throughout the year with all the proceeds going towards projects identified as being top priorities by Board members and the leadership team.

As a registered, non-profit charity, we are committed to managing your donations responsibly. We pledge to honour any requests that you may have as a donor.   We accept cash, personal cheques, Visa, Mastercard and gifts-in-kind.
